Pada bulan ini ketika Rasulullah Saw ditemui malaikat Jibril setiap malam untuk membaca dan mempelajari Al Qur’an, ia lebih dermawan daripada angin yang ditiupkan.

Ketika Rasulullah ditanya sedekah yang paling utama, beliau menjawab,
“Sedekah yang paling utama adalah sedekah pada bulan Ramadhan” (HR. Bukhari)
